How To Thaw Meat Properly?
Pre-cooked products usually come with preparation and cooking instructions so follow them to get the best results.
For raw meat products:
- The best way to defrost steaks and other cut of meats is by leaving them in their vacuum-sealed packaging (lay them flat on a plate to catch drippings) and putting them in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours. Thicker cuts may require more time to thaw.
